I just donated 20+ articles of my old winter clothes for Sandy victims. If anyone in the Long Island area like me has any old warm clothes they don’t wear anymore, PLEASE donate!! I’m very lucky, I only lost power for a few days and had $300 worth of damage to my house. My family and close friends are sleeping in 30-degree weather every night. But people literally in the town next to me completely lost their homes, some people even their loved ones. Even if you weren’t affected by the storm, even if you don’t live in New York or New Jersey, please send whatever you can, however you can!! I personally know people that are being benefited by these donations. That old sweatshirt stuffed in the back of your closet can be worn by a young child who is now homeless. Every little bit helps!!
